The natural world is the center of my spirit, and my garden is how I keep myself centered in an urban environment.

 

 

Fortunately Corvallis, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, is surrounded by numerous opportunities for interaction with nature.  We are no more than an hour from the Pacific ocean, within minutes of the Coast Range, and near to the Cascade Mountains and the high desert of Oregon.  I live surrounded by inspiration.

 

 

Still, my studio is just beyond this gate, so what else could I call it?
