Daphne Reconsiders

Do you know the story? Beautiful nymph (Daphne) pursued by amorous god (Apollo) begs for help from her father the River and is turned into a tree… Turns out it was all Cupid’s fault. Scorned by Apollo, he crafted an arrow of lead and an arrow of gold. Apollo was shot with the gold, and fell desperately in love with Daphne. Daphne was shot with the lead. Guess what that did.

I’ve always wondered how she felt after being stuck as a tree for a while.
